Who We Are

The Southern Lehigh Education Foundation supports students, educators and parents of the Southern Lehigh School District by supplementing funds that allow for new and innovated initiatives to be strengthened or established. As a 501c3 non-political organization, SLEF works closely with the SLSD administration to determine areas of need that fit the goals and foundation set forth by the district, through private fundraising and corporate grants with the use of the Pennsylvania State Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.

Each year, a list of potential initiatives is submitted to SLEF by the district for consideration of SLEF funds. These initiatives are either current programs seeking expansion or aspirational opportunities the district would like to establish outside of current district budget. By working together and partnering with generous individuals and corporations in our area, SLEF hopes to make a brighter future for all SLSD students.
